Biography Gil is, first and foremost a king... by definition being someone who lives by his own rules and puts no one but himself above all else. This has him come across as proud and arrogant, seeing everyone else beneath him unless you've managed to earn his respect somehow. Ultimately, he's self-serving and lives for his entertainment. If he finds something or someone boring, it's easily pushed aside for some new amusement. However, Gilgamesh is classified in the Chaotic Good side of the spectrum, despite his apparent selfishness. His magnanimity though, is limited to his people and his vassals. In other words, if you're good to him, he's good right back... as long as you keep him entertained. If you think you're better than him, he'll show you how much better he is and why you should be bowing to him. But he isn't crass. He's quite charismatic and knows how to get under people's skin and in their heads much to their dismay. IN-GAME HISTORY: Gil has been around a long time. A long time. He's the kind of guy who's managed to live so long from sheer clout. Back when Uruk was still standing, he was a wild young king who used to rule with an iron fist... until he met with a young man named Enkidu. (Vampire or human, I'm leaving that vague for now.) The two became fast friends and loved each other dearly but were separated. (Again, leaving the hows and whys vague.) While this may have softened the tyrant slightly, it never tamed him outright. As soon as Uruk was in proper hands, he set off in a journey wandering the earth. On what exactly, he isn't telling. True immortality? Treasure? Entertainment? Several hundred years of misadventures later, he hears of a curious little proposal: Vampires and humans coexisting under one campus. That, he figured, would prove to be this century's latest entertainment as far as he was concerned. So he went ahead and signed himself up. School, was going to be an interesting use of his time but more importantly, he wanted to see just how successful Kaien Cross' little experiment was going to be.
